Rebecca Alten
Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist
Rebecca Alten, OTR/L, graduated from University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2020 with a master’s in occupational therapy. She has had extensive experience with autism and ADHD and has taken several continuing education courses on using neurodiversity-affirming practices, AAC, and appealing to autistic learning styles. She has a passion for child led, relationship-based, individualized therapy and loves incorporating children's interests into therapy sessions. She has experience working in multi-disciplinary, collaborative clinics and with First Steps. She has taken the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding course and enjoys teaching children that food can be fun! In her free time, she hangs out with her husband and baby (along with their several pets), takes care of her houseplants, and plays frisbee golf.
